Michael Leigh‘s career spans over 25 years of sales, marketing, and senior management experience with leading edge communications companies, including COO, CEO, Board and Investor positions. He is the former-COO of Tekelec from start-up to IPO (now a $3+Billion market-cap company) and has been involved as a principal or Board Member of state-of-the-art technology companies that have raised over $100 Million of venture financing.

Leigh founded Technology MarketForce Inc., in 1987. TMF is a unique technology management firm that has developed many proprietary tools and processes that enhance a technology company CEO’s ability to create extraordinary organizations. He and his team have also executed on this mission many times. 9 out of 10 TMF Clients have been successfully acquired or gone public.

Leigh has been a guest speaker and panelist at dozens of Industry Analyst, Investment Banker and High-technology events, and has appeared in the press and on television in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He is on the National Board of Directors of AeA (formerly known as the American Electronics Association) and is the Chair of the LA Council. He also sits on the Board or Management Advisory Board of several leading hi-tech companies.

Leigh grew-up in London, England. He was educated at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School, a recent recipient of the “#1 academic institution in the United Kingdom” award, and graduated from Watford College of Technology, majoring in Advertising & Marketing. He is married, resides in Malibu, California, and enjoys chess, ocean kayaking and motor racing. Leigh has both a U.S. and U.K. (CE) passport, speaks fluent French, and commutes between offices in Europe, California and China.
