It amazingly requires little more than 3 days of Corporate
Management participation. Yet it is stunningly effective in attacking
the weaknesses in a Company's Business Model and reinforcing its strengths.
The rest of the time comprises pre-workshop preparation and post-session
project completion by TMF without further impacting valuable Management
resources. The principal workshop sesion (one or two days) comprises
an intensive "real-time strategic planning" exercise with
designated Senior Management.
The session is preceded, at least two weeks in advance,
by having all participants individually complete a proprietary Company
Health Test questionnaire.
These are returned to TMF, where they are reviewed individually
and collectively. This input, along with other preparatory Company Information
requested, allows TMF to throroughly prepare for the one day planning
session beforehand.
For the FTAP program session, the management "day" will
last anything from six to ten hours depending on how fast the process
moves along. TMF will need to receive all preliminary information requested
well in advance. The Company Health Test is only one of the methods
used by TMF in examining the internal organization and external market
factors relevant to a Company's critical growth path.
At the end of the session a Fast Track Action Plan
is outlined. It covers the period from one to six months and is designed
to have short term revenue building results. In addition, some ideas
of areas to explore in the seven to twenty-four month time frame are
also included. These ideas are always of a practical and realistic nature,
in keeping with the resource availability of the company. At the end
of this session the participants will have experienced a highly concentrated
but creative review of their organizational and market readiness.
According to many TMF Clients, this Program facilitates
an effective strategic planning session, with immediate value, that
if performed internally, without "outsider" facilitation, might otherwise
require a period of weeks or even months, if it happens at all. TMF
provides a written summary of the findings and recommendations. After
this initial Program the next stage is optional. It ranges from no further
involvement by TMF, to requesting a proposal that addresses specific
issues that have been raised during the one day session, to an ongoing
detailed involvement with specific objectives in mind.
