Overview of Technology MarketForce's
Technology MatchMaker (TMM) Program.
The Technology MatchMaker Program (TMM) was born out of many years of strategic alliance work by Technology MarketForce (TMF) for individual Clients, on a "one-on-one" basis. It was these Clients that informed TMF of the need to fill the sizable gap in services between what smaller Companies did for themselves in the strategic alliance arena, and the specialized financing and M&A services performed by investment bankers. CEO's of smaller companies informed TMF that they are not "well-understood" by the Tier 2 and 3 Investment Banking Community, and that they need a more "holistic" approach to strategic alliance and fund-raising initiatives.
A typical TMM Program for an early stage technology company includes:
Preliminary Company review and goal setting
Specific targeting of certain individual investors and venture firms
Targeting of certain identified companies with synergistic potential
Preparation of descriptive material outlining requirements
"Blind" presentation of our Client's TMM "Partner Opportunity" on TMF's Internet Server (http://www.tmf.com) to facilitate effective communication as well as promote an "auction environment".
Communication by phone, mail and E-mail to targeted companies on TMF's "attack list", including both U.S. and overseas companies
Aggressive follow-up of identified opportunities. TMF participation in key meetings with "hot prospects" (travel expenses not included)
Assistance with agreement negotiation* as appropriate.
*TMF is an experienced Business and Transaction Firm, but is in no way qualified to provide Legal or Tax advice, which is the sole responsibility of our Client's Management.
TMF is highly qualified to perform the above services. It was founded in June 1987 with the mission of "helping technology companies grow faster". TMF's Management and Operating Executives, each with a successful "hands-on" industry track record of their own, work very closely, on a confidential level, with the Senior Management of their Client Companies. Together they explore the fundamentals of the business, core competencies of the organization, and potentially lucrative market niches. As part of the "Enhanced TMM Program" TMF assists in the creation of a core strategy that uniquely positions the Company to compete effectively in their segment of the ever more crowded information technology marketplace. TMF has a 17-year track record of successful transactions and can provide many case histories for several different profiles of deals, companies and market segments. TMF will go to extraordinary lengths to facilitate, and participate in, the successful implementation of this strategy.
TMF's Executives, have appeared as guest speakers at numerous industry and investment banking conferences, and have been featured in publications in the U.S., Asia and Europe, such as the Financial Times of London, Communications Week, Data Communications, California Business, Success magazine, and many more.
